 | Good day, mga kapamilya...Concern lang po ako sa aking mga nasaksihan na nagmulat sa aking mga mata...I wrote here an article about the situation of Sabangan primary School situated in the midst of Baranggay Dalirig's hinter land...... Just read it and I wish it would touch your hearts....I and my friends had been doing an action for these children.....i entitled this article: The Children of Sabangan Primary School
The Cradle of Sabangan Children
Somewhere in Barangay Dalirig of the municipality of Manolo Fortich, BUKIDNON seven Kilo meters away from the national high way or about three hours of long walking lays the cradle of Sitio Sabangan’s children, whom they called Sabangan Primary School. Sounds like a big school,yet it is only one classroom school. Yes, with the area of the classroom for about six by four meters square, A combi-class of Grade I and Grade II pupils, and all fifty three student where packed like sardines in that little class room.
These children were blessed to have a devoted teacher in the name of Aysa Beth Bagasbas. She travels every day just to satisfy the role as a teacher, at the same time a wife and a mother. It was a great challenge for her but she never gives up. Her family and her pupils both occupy her heart.
According to them the small space had never been a great problem for they are enjoying the class as they learn, yet the rain is the only threat of their learning. Their roof made out of scrap metals would leak and the rain passes to its open window that would wet them. They never scarce of learning but what hinders are the fact that at times they don’t have pencils and papers. No matter how fun they have experienced and how much they learn from it but wouldn’t be assess through written test would be useless. What will they use if they don’t have paper and pen?
In reality, many children nowadays many children had been wasting paper and pens, they would fold their papers and draw it a paper plane or boats; some would just throw their pencils when they had a new one. The Sabangan children were different, because they know how to value little things. They value every space of their paper and as long as their pencil has a lead they use it.
Indeed there are innumerable ways by which we can join hands with our fellow Filipinos in running the wheels of the lives of these poor children. There are many ways – even if it is small ways- by which we even in our small ways can act to do what is best thing to do. By all means then let us cultivate the virtue of environment and charity, if we are to build a strong and happy nation, and then let us plant hopes, dreams, visions and positive out looks in these children. They can do great things and be a catalyst of change. They need us even a single centavo counts. I wish you would help us develop the views of these children through sending them help... |
 | Magandang araw po sa inyo, si Jimwell Sitoy po ito. Nangangailan po kami ng tulong para sa tatay kong may "CERVICAL RADICULOPATHY SECONDARY TO CERVICAL SPONDYLOSIS WITH DISC BULGE (C3-C7) HYPERTENSIVE CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE"
Bata pa lang po ako sa edad na 14 ay humihingi na ho ako ng tulong para sa tatay ko. Malubha po ang kalagayan ng tatay ko na pwedeng magresulta ang sakit nya sa paralisado ng buong katawan nya. Marami pa ho akong ambisyon sa buhay at ang tatay ko po ang tanging nagtataguyod ng pamilya namin. Kung sakaling matuloyang maparalisa ang tatay ko ay guguho na ho ang mga pangarap kong iyun. Ang magulang ko naman ay 16 na taon na po at gusto nya pong ipagpatuloy ang kanyang pag-aaral hanggang sa kolehiyo pero kung hindi po magagamot ang kalgayan ng tatay ko at lumala hanggang sa ma paralisa ay maaaring hindi na makapag-aral ang kapatid ko at pati narin po ako.
Noong nagpakunsulta po kami sa PERPETUAL SUCCOUR HOSPITAL ay nalaman naming napakalaking problema pala ang aming hinaharap. Akala po namin ay isang simpleng pamamanhid lang ang kanyang nararanasan pero ipinaospital po namin sya dahil sa grabeng sakit na kanyang nararanasan.
Pano nalang po ang aming mga pangarap kung mapaparalisa ang aming ama. Matindi po ang aming determinasyong makapag-aral hanggang makatapos sa aming na piling kurso pero kung mapaparalisa po si itay ay maaaring matigil po ang aming mga pangarap. Sana po ay matulungan nyung maipagamot ang tatay ko.

PARA KAY PRRC CHAIRPERSON REGINA LOPEZ:
Mga katanungan at kahilingan ng samahang DSOP tungkol sa paninirahan sa 728 Housing Project ng PRRC mula sa katatapos na meeting ng DSOP officers at Mr. Simon Aguilon at Engr. Penaflor nuong January 25 sa PRRC Main office:
1. Bigyan ng madaliang action ng Encabo Contractor at DPWH ang pag-gawa ng structural testing (coring test) sa 4 na buildings.
Hindi pa din natutuloy ang naging kaisahan na repairs sa mga cracks ng kongkreto at umuugang pipe railings, linya ng tubig at water tanks at electrical wiring.
2. Ayon kay Mr. Aguilon ng PRRC mahigit 50% na ang usapan ng PRRC at NHA tungkol sa Estate Management, saang yugto na ang usapang ito?
3. Dapat kilalanin kami ng Serviam at PRRC, na organisasyon ng mga taga-tabing ilog sa Punta, bago pa man maglipatan sa JCSV at may karapatan at tungkuling mamuno sa kasapian nito.
4. Dapat mapalitan kaagad ang pamunuan ni Ms Noemi Balaan na tahasang nauuna sa pagawa ng unofficial at sariling regulasyon at direktiba na lumalabag sa karapatan ng mga naninirahan; madalas na pananakot ng papapaalis sa tirahan; pag-wawalang bahala sa direktiba ng DPWH na bawal magpabigat o magdagdag ng ceramic tiles/semento sa mga sahig dahil sa mga nakikitang cracks.
Patuloy ang mga pagdagdag na pabigat na patakaran sa mga units; patuloy din ang pagpapatira sa mga yunit lalo na sa gabi.
5. Ano ang karampatang Entitlement (ayon sa RAP) ng mga 728-ISF dahil sa Lost Assets, pagkagiba ng bahay at pagkawala ng hanapbuhay. Paano ang assistance sa mga Low-Income ISF? Plano sa Livelihood Program at Micro Credit?
6. Kailan magkakaroon ng pakinabang ang mga 728 ISF sa kinikita ng Serviam sa mga upa ng tindahan sa Carport, bayad sa School ng gobyerno, upa sa parking spaces, upa sa playground ? May 3 pang Slots sa Carport na magagamit sa pangkabuhayan ng mga residente, ngunit wala pa ring aksyon sa ngayon na mapahiram ito ng libre sa samahang DSOP.
7. Kailangan sa 4 na gusali ang mga Emergency Equipments; stretchers, wheelchairs,first aid kits,fire hoses,fire extinguishers, malinis na supply ng tubig at ambulansya. Gawing sanang ligtas ang inuming tubig na galing sa gripo.
8. May Infestation na ng mga ipis daga, anay at iba pang insekto sa dahilang maaring hindi nilason ang lupang pundasyon ng mga gusali;nangangamoy din ang basurahan (MRF) nasa kalsada na binabaha din pag umuulan, naireport na ito kay Engr Penaflor noong miting ng 25 January.
9. Wala na dapat koleksyon o bayad ang para sa security, ,basura, maintenance na saklaw ng RAP, obligasyon ng gobyerno na ibigay para sa mga basic services. Hindi pa rin naipapakita ang Billing ng Bulk Water Meter para na rin malaman kung tama ang dagdag na bayad ng 728-ISF.Ang P500 na naipondo para sa lahat ng metro ng tubig ay hindi na nagkaroon muli ng report kung ito ay nasa Lending Co. pa o wala na.
10. Kailan magagamit ang elevator na nagiging tapunan na lang ng basura?
11. Bakit ginawang pribado ang eskwelahan na dapat ay pampubliko na mapapasukan sana ng mga mahihirap na residente ng 728 housing project?
